CELEBRATE: 2020 Student Accomplishments

Despite the COVID curve ball thrown at us in 2020, students are still growing & learning! In that learning process, it's important to stop, take a look back at what you've accomplished, and CELEBRATE accomplishments, both big & small, then set new goals.

Here's what a few students had to say about their vocal growth so far as we approach the home stretch of 2020:

  • Delia: My voice has changed TONS, and I feel much more confident as a singer.

  • Chloe: My technique has improved, my range has improved, and I'm singing OPERA!

  • Rhonda: I can sing a more independent vocal line [20th century art song] with no help from the accompaniment, and my intonation has gotten better.

  • Savannah: I'm learning notes & intervals better, and getting into character more.

  • LisaMarie: My breathing is better, I'm singing more complex songs (Italian art song), and have started learning some jazz/contemporary warmups.

  • Molly: I started learning how to belt, learned 3 new songs, and feel more confident as a singer.

  • Rebekah: I'm breathing better, sounding better, and I feel more confident singing in another language

Stay tuned to hear about some student goals for the rest of 2020!
