Summer Hydration Tip #3 of 8: Peaches
Let's here it for PEACHES! Here in Colorado, we look forward to the Summer peach season and the fantastic Palisades Peaches from the Western Slope. They are so good!!!! Here are some facts about peaches:
They're 88% water
They're a significant sources of potassium, an electrolyte that needs replenishing when you're sweating
A raw medium peach has 50 calories, 15 g of carbs, 13 g of sugar, 2 g of fiber (both soluble and insoluble fiber), and 1 g of protein (I never knew peaches had any protein!)
