See You In September! Lessons start Sept 7, 2022
One of my favorite oldies - See You in September - was originally recorded in 1959 by The Tempos, then remade by The Happenings in the 1960s. I was a little girl with 4 older sisters and 1 brother, so I heard a lot of the classic pop songs of the day, along with some great classical works, thanks to my parents. This link starts with the original, but hang in there - you'll hear the 1960s remake (which I actually like better, honestly).
Although I used a "golden oldie" song for this blog, I'm glad songs sung in my studio span over 5 centuries - from the 1600s to the 21st century - and include 7 languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish! How cool is that??
So get ready: Fall lessons begin Wednesday, September 7th. I'm looking forward to welcoming back singers from last year, and some new singers this year - maybe you?
